【摘 要】It is inevitable for cars to vibrate because of road excitation during the movement. Regarding this prob-lem, this paper selects the active suspension of the quarter-car as the research object and ride smoothness andhandling balance as the goal. Under the condition of class B and class C road excitation, it takes tire dynamicload, body vertical acceleration and suspension dynamic travel as evaluation indicators. Meanwhile, the fuzzy in-ference and PID control are combined to propose a fuzzy PID control strategy which is applied in the active sus-pension system. Then the PID parameters can be adjusted online so that the system can adapt to the changing roadconditions. The simulation and test results show that the fuzzy PID control strategy can effectively reduce the vi-bration amplitude and speed of the car under the typical road excitation and greatly improve ride comfort and han-dling stability. The fuzzy PID has a certain value in terms of practical application.
